O3 Detox Treatment
O3 Detox Treatment
A structured circulatory and lymphatic support session designed to stimulate physiologic elimination pathways through heat exposure, mechanical activation, and manual lymphatic techniques. The treatment focuses on improving perfusion, sweat response, and lymphatic transport to support the body’s normal processing of environmental exposures such as mold, pollutants, and metabolic byproducts.
Scientific Basis of the Treatment
Ozone therapy is understood to function primarily through controlled oxidative signaling rather than direct toxin removal. When ozone interacts with body fluids, it forms reactive oxygen species and lipid oxidation products that act as biologic messengers. These signaling molecules are associated with activation of pathways such as Nrf2, a transcription factor involved in antioxidant defense, mitochondrial regulation, and detoxification enzyme expression.
Through these pathways, ozone exposure may influence mitochondrial respiration, cellular redox balance, and metabolic efficiency while supporting endogenous antioxidant systems including glutathione-related processes and phase-II detoxification enzymes. The physiologic goal is not to extract toxins directly but to stimulate the body’s intrinsic systems responsible for oxidative stress adaptation, energy regulation, and normal elimination.
Treatment Sequence
Vibration Plate – 15 minutes
Whole-body vibration activates muscle pumping, increases circulation, and stimulates lymphatic movement prior to thermal therapy. This phase prepares the body for improved fluid transport and drainage.
O3 Sauna – 20 minutes
Temperature: 104°F
Ozone setting: 1/8
The sauna phase provides mild hyperthermia with low-level ozone exposure to promote vasodilation, sweating, and tissue oxygen dynamics. This stage supports peripheral circulation and primes the lymphatic system for manual work.
Full-Body Lymphatic Drainage Massage
A structured manual lymphatic technique is applied to guide interstitial fluid toward major drainage pathways. The focus is on supporting lymph movement, reducing tissue congestion, and improving physiologic fluid exchange.
Gliding Cupping Lymphatic Drainage
Light dynamic cupping is used to assist superficial lymph flow and improve connective tissue glide. The suction remains gentle and directional to support lymphatic transport rather than deep tissue manipulation.
Purpose of the Treatment
- Lymphatic circulation
- Peripheral blood flow
- Sweating and dermal elimination pathways
- Tissue fluid movement
- Recovery after environmental exposure load
- General physiologic reset after stress or stagnation
The treatment works by stimulating the body’s own clearance systems.
