Massage That Adapts
to the Body

At Coastal Wellness, all massage is provided by Pam. Her work is thoughtful, skilled, and responsive, drawing from a wide range of hands on methods to meet the body as it is that day.

You do not need to choose a technique before you come in. You simply come in, explain what is going on, and Pam works on what needs attention. The treatment is shaped around the person in front of her, not around a fixed routine.

Her work draws from Tsuboku, psoas work, Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral Therapy, intra oral work, and more. Each of these approaches offers something different. Tsuboku uses focused pressure on specific points to influence tension patterns throughout the body. Psoas work addresses the deep hip flexor that can affect posture, the low back, and the way the body stands and moves. Myofascial Release works through connective tissue to improve ease, glide, and mobility.

Visceral Manipulation focuses on the abdomen and the internal structures that can contribute to restriction and discomfort. Craniosacral Therapy is used in a quiet, practical way to help the body settle and release holding that does not respond to pressure alone. Intra oral work addresses the muscles inside the mouth and jaw, which can play a major role in facial tension, jaw discomfort, headaches, and neck strain.

These are not separate services that have to be sorted out in advance. They are part of a broader skill set. Pam uses what is useful, leaves out what is not, and works in a way that feels cohesive from beginning to end. The treatment stays centered on the body, not on the label.

People come in for many reasons. Sometimes it is neck and shoulder tension, low back tightness, jaw pain, hip restriction, headaches, or soreness after training. Sometimes it is after a procedure such as liposuction, when the body needs careful hands on work to support recovery and improve tissue movement. Sometimes there is no single complaint. The body just does not feel right. All of that belongs here.

Coastal Wellness is part of the local professional community, including IWU, while keeping the work itself personal, attentive, and grounded in the individual experience of each client.

What remains consistent is the quality of the work. Pam pays attention, adjusts in real time, and stays with what needs to change. The goal is simple. You leave feeling more comfortable in your body, with more ease, more movement, and a clearer sense that something real has shifted.
